Professional Services Billing and Timesheet Excel Template

This Excel-based billing and time sheet application calculates the hours worked by client, project, activity, employee, and department.
It differentiates between billable and non-billable hours. 
Standard billing rates are used by default and can be overridden by a special rate for any specific task, project, or client.
Actual hours are calculated from start and end times entered in the employee’s timesheet.
Values are then calculated for all billable hours and can be segmented by client by project and by activity.
Timesheet totals are calculated for Hours Worked, Billable Hours and Value.
A user-friendly print format, suitable for approval sign-off, and PDF format, suitable for electronic distribution and filing, are produced.
The weekly timesheet can be added to the cumulative project hours from previous weeks.
The cumulative hours and billing values over the life of projects are then analyzed and an extensive range of charts, graphs and tables are produced. (Click on images above).
All reports feature drilldown and summarize facilities using standard Excel Dashboard features.
Only standard Excel features are used.
The system can be customized and extended within Excel as there are no restrictions or password protected components.

The Professional Services billing and timesheet Excel template incorporates the following features:

• Records Employee name, Dept., Staff No., Date, Week No., and Standard Billing Rate.
• Records time worked by Date, Client, Project No., and Activity Code.

• Time can be designated as billable (default) or non-billable.

One provides the facility for each employee to enter their data via weekly timesheet, the other allows data to be entered into a group table/log, typically centrally.
